The R-MAX is made from full length ROCK SOLID 160x40mm aluminium profiles, with 160x40mm cross profiles spanning the base and 120x40mm wheel uprights. This Black Edition of the R-MAX has these profiles finished anodised in stylish matte black colour, which gives the rig a striking & purposeful appearance, with its thick & chunky profiles giving the rig a real presence in your room.
Aluminium profiles were selected specifically because they provide maximum rigidity & strength, as well as unparalleled adjustability. The R-MAX was designed to be sufficiently compact and ergonomic, given its immense rigidity, maintaining all the functionality you would expect from a flagship 16040 aluminium profile sim rig, packed into a manageable footprint. Yes, despite it's almighty strength, the R-MAX occupies a relatively small footprint, which means it's ideal for spaces small and large.
As well as being extremely strong, the R-MAX's aluminium profile construction also provides incredible levels of adjustment, thanks to its full length T-channels. These give you unparalleled flexibility to setup the rig to your liking, and make even the most subtle & minute of fine tuning adjustments, ensuring that you will find the right driving position, whoever you are. In racing, getting the perfect driving position is key to getting the fastest laps, so it's imperative that you're comfortable in the rig and so able to give your full focus to racing. Widely Compatible
The R-MAX is ready for racing! We've designed it specifically to be fully compatible with all the latest & greatest sim racing wheels and pedals on the market. Yes, the R-MAX is drilled for all major sim brands so it's compatible with all your favourite wheels and pedals. Simply bolt your wheel and pedals directly into the precision drilled holes and hit the track!
Rigid & Adjustable Wheel Mount
The R-MAX's wheel plate is drilled for all major racing wheels including Fanatec, Asetek, Moza, Simagic, Logitech, Thrustmaster and more, so you can easily and conveniently bolt your wheel to the rig and have it firmly bolted in place.
The R-MAX utilises an 8mm thick steel wheel plate, 33% thicker compared to the R-PRO's wheel plate, for additional rigidity & strength.
The R-MAX's wheel mount is part of our OMNI mount series, featuring thick sandwich plates and 12040 profiles. These profiles are ideal as they are both rigid & lightweight, and also very functional - you can attach ancillary connectors like emergency torque cut off switches, on/off power buttons and other small peripherals, having them neatly beside your wheelbase.
Crucially, this design means the R-MAX's wheel plate is highly adjustable too, with full height adjustment, distance (back and forth) adjustment and angle adjustment, so you really can adjust the position to your heart's content - making adjustments is quick & easy too, with easily accessible bolts making adjustments straight forward, giving you maximum convenience to fine tuning your setup when needed.

One Piece Drilled Steel Pedal Plate
The R-MAX boasts a thicker, longer & stronger reinforced one-piece pedal plate compared to the R-PRO - more rigid & spacious, and with an additional bend added at the rear to further enhance its strength, it's perfectly suited to handling powerful loadcell and hydraulic sim racing pedals.
The R-MAX's 6mm thick steel pedal plate is drilled for all major pedals, with horizontally elongated slot holes to allow for horizontal adjustments - perfect to fine tune your pedal positioning to your liking.

The R-MAX's pedal plate is one piece with integrated mounting brackets, making assembly straight forward and easy. The pedal plate again can be easily adjusted for its height, distance (back and forth) and for angle by using the included High Rise profiles, to get some serious angle!
Unlike some competitors who use brackets with a fixed set of heights, the R-MAX's High Rise profiles allows you to position the pedals at any height, for maximum refinement.

Thick Sandwich Plates
The R-MAX is designed for MAXimum strength and MAXimum adjustability - to accommodate high-powered Direct Drive wheels, we used thick sandwich plates to firmly attach the uprights to the frame; the overlapping structure utilising this thick steel sandwich plate provides superior strength, with the added benefit of great adjustability too, being able to adjust and position the profiles freely and easily anywhere along the full-length 160x40 base frame.
The wheel plate also benefits from sandwich plates with an integrated slot hole, allowing for easy position and angle adjustment.
These hefty sandwich plates ensure a ROCK SOLID sim racing experience, and are equally highly adjustable too - you can position your uprights and wheel mount profile anywhere along the full-length T-slots of the R-MAX's frame. It's this fantastic level of adjustment that makes the difference.
And once again, so all adjustments are quick and easy, giving you maximum convenience to make speedy adjustments when needed. Another core advantage of the R-MAX.

The R-MAX is designed to be rigid & highly adjustable, to accommodate a wide range of users. The R-MAX is optimally sized for use in small & large spaces, without compromising on adjustability or strength.
The R-MAX's full length 1.3m 160x40 profiles mean it is suitable for users up to 6 ft 7 / 200cm height.
The R-MAX is 58cm wide along the entire frame, except at the uprights, which overlap the frame, where the width is approximately 68cm - we chose to have the upright profiles overlap the sides of the frame for maximum rigidity & stability.
The R-MAX has a maximum height of 82cm at the uprights (measured from the floor to the top of the upright), and you can fully adjust the height of your wheel mount on these uprights.
MAXIMUM Strength
The R-MAX's ultimate strength comes from its industrial grade 160x40mm aluminium profiles, chosen especially because of their exceptional rigidity & durability. In this Black Edition of the R-MAX, the profiles are finished in an anodised matte black colour for a striking and purposeful appearance. Anodising was chosen over powder coating because the anodisation process provides a better, more durable and scratch-resistant finish compared to other powder coated competitors.
Thick steel bespoke sandwich plates coupled with high grade fasteners and connectors are used to maximise rigidity of the rig and remove flex. The wheel plate and pedal plate are equally rigid, both are thick plates constructed from steel to give your wheel and pedals, a rock solid foundation.
Easier & Faster to Assemble
Like with our R-PRO, a major focus for us was to make the R-MAX as simple and quick to build as possible, and we achieved this by thoroughly optimising the design of the rig, through manufacturing bespoke sandwich plates and a one-piece pedal plates.
We ensured that the R-MAX is fastest and most straight forward sim rig to assemble in its class. We proudly achieved this through a variety of processes — by thoroughly reviewing and optimising every element of the rig's design, by selecting suitable ergonomic connectors, as well as through custom designing & manufacturing a bespoke rigid one-piece pedal plate with integrated mounting brackets incorporated into the structure, so it's as easy as fastening 4 bolts and they're attached.
Some other 160x40 aluminium profile rigs on the market are poorly designed, using cheaper parts and are poorly engineered with convoluted designs, which results in a vastly increased assembly time and frustrating assembly process. By contrast, each component of the R-MAX was optimised for ease of assembly, with a paramount focus on ultimate strength and rigidity for a zero flex sim racing experience. The R-MAX will take longer to build than the R-PRO given it's more robust design, however the end result is an extremely solid sim rig.
Furthermore, we've produced a very detailed, step-by-step assembly manual, that walks you through each step of the assembly process - our priority is to ensure you've all the guidance you need to have an enjoyable & speedy assembly process of your R-MAX.
Supremely Adjustable
Everybody is different, so it's imperative that a sim rig is highly adjustable so that you can fine-tune it to your preference. The R-MAX excels at this in every regard.
The R-MAX has nearly limitless adjustments in the positioning of the wheel uprights, as well as a combination of distance, angle & height adjustments for both the wheel plate and the pedal plate- we realise the importance of fine tuning your driving position and want to ensure that process is as easy and quick as possible.
The included High Rise Extender Profiles for the pedal plate allow you to steeply incline the R-MAX's thick pedal plate, if you wish to. All of this really helps you optimise the positioning of your wheel and pedals, helping you focus on your racing and finding that last tenth of a second!

Modular
Another key aspect of the R-MAX is its modularity and adjustability, thanks to its 16040 T-slot aluminium profile construction. This essentially means the rig is very easy to adapt when you change your setup - if you change wheel, expand to triple monitors, buy a new shifter or add a ButtKicker, you simply swap out an existing parts for a different part. This means the R-MAX will be a future proof sim rig that can be adapted to your setup as it progresses with time and so it's a prudent investment for any sim racer.
